To understand the war in Ukraine , just read , carefully "Worse than war" by Daniel Jonah Goldhagen, September 2010, mainly about ELIMINATIONISM ; do not read Philippe Sands professor of law at University College London because he is misleading. In particular I do not agree with mr Sands and his article in today's Financial Times "There can be no impunity for aggression against Ukraine".
I don't like the concept of IMPUNITY (in this case the impunity of Vladimir Putin for the Ukraine's invasion), but I don't like the concept of a SPECIAL CRIMINAL TRIBUNAL too , at an international level .
The approaching NATO enlargement to Ukraine, from an international geopolitical point of view, not merely from the international law point of view, in the last 10 years, was and is a very big error made by the Western elites in front of the russian BEAR .
